Over the span of 70 years Jeep has built a reputation by being an accessible brand capable of taking you on any journey. All Jeeps are available in right-hand-drive versions with gasoline and diesel powertrain options.To meet the world wide demand Jeeps are sold outside North America. With such a dynamic history it is only fitting that Jeep be able to team up with other successful brands and begin a strong partnerships.
This year Jeep will be an exclusive sponsor of the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. This will be a three year partnership and will involve the Jeep brand as an exclusive vehicle and automotive partner of RCR (Resorts of the Canadian Rockies). RCR West resorts located in Alberta and British Columbia: Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Nakisa Resort, Wintergreen Golf Resort and Trickle Creek Golf Resort are those included in this exclusive deal.
Part of the sponsorship will entail an on-site presence. This presence will involve vehicle displays and select test drives of the Jeep brand with vehicles like that of Compass, Grand Cherokee, Patriot and Wrangler. Bob Devlin, Senior Manager – Western Business Centre, Chrysler Canada stated in an interview; “Regardless of the terrain, Jeep products are perfectly suited for any kind of off- or on-road adventure, and what better place than the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies to showcase them in their natural element.”The Jeep brand will benefit greatly from this deal. Not only as a company but with reputation as so many Albertans are heading to the Rockies for their getaways. This partnership has caused quite a bit of excitement.
Another venture Jeep has taken on this year is sponsoring the RCR ‘Jeep Junior Freeski Tour’. This event brings the best in Junior skiing and snowboarding, under the age of 18, together for competition in thrill-seeking and gravity-defying freeski. This event will take place on February 9-10 at Kimberly Alpine Resort, February 21-24 at Fernie Alpine Resort and March 2-3 at Kicking Horse Alpine Resort. These stops are the only Canadian stops on the International Feeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA).
Jeep will be showing off their brand by appearing on the cabs of the Golden Eagles Express Gondola at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, in the form of a Jeep decal wrap. The official Jeep ambassador team will be available to answer product questions and giving away free merchandise.
